Fraud Alert: Scammers May Be Using Poca Valley Bank’s Name to Obtain Your Banking Information
A familiar name or phone number doesn’t always mean a message is legitimate. Scammers can disguise calls, emails and texts to make them appear to come from Poca Valley Bank. If you receive an unexpected message or call, pause and remember:
• We will never ask for your password or debit card PIN.
• Never move money to another account at the direction of someone claiming to be from Poca Valley Bank.
• If a call seems suspicious, hang up and call us directly using a trusted number—not one provided by the caller or in a suspicious message.
